Way More Accurate Results
We rewrote the verification engine from the ground up. Across millions of verified leads, the new system correctly identifies ~98% as delivery-eligible - up from ~64% before, and ahead of the industry average of ~91%.
Emails that used to be wrongly marked as invalid or unknown now get the correct verdict. Fewer false positives means better leads list and less bounces in your campaigns.
Detailed Breakdown for Every Lead
Every verified email now shows exactly what happened under the hood. Hover over any verification badge in your campaign leads table to see a full breakdown:
- Address Info - canonical address, role account check, mailbox exists, SMTP probe result, and typo suggestions ("Did you mean gmail.com?")
- Domain Info - MX records, disposable domain check, catch-all detection, greylisting, full inbox, disabled mailbox
- Processing Info - when the email was last verified
No more guessing why a lead was marked risky or invalid - every check is visible.
Simpler Status System
We simplified verification from 5 statuses down to 4:
- Valid - mailbox confirmed, safe to send
- Risky - catch-all domains, role addresses, full inboxes, disposable emails, greylisted servers
- Invalid - mailbox doesn't exist, no MX records, syntax errors, disabled accounts
- Unknown - server refused to answer definitively
The old "Unreachable" status is gone - those leads are now correctly categorized as Risky or Invalid based on the actual reason.
11 Sub-Status Reasons
Every lead also gets a precise reason badge - color-coded in your leads table and filterable from the toolbar:
- Green: Email OK
- Amber: Accept-all domain, disposable address, full inbox, greylisted
- Red: No mailbox found, failed SMTP check, failed MX check, syntax error, disabled mailbox
- Gray: Role address (info@, support@)
You can now filter your leads by any sub-status to quickly find, for example, all catch-all leads or all disposable addresses.
Smarter Defaults
- Skip Unknown is now ON by default - unknown leads are excluded from sending unless you opt in. Safer out of the box.
- Campaign-scoped verification - bulk verification results are now tied to the specific campaign, preventing verdict conflicts across campaigns that share the same leads.
Under the Hood - Minor Patches
- Smart typo detection - if a lead has "gmial.com" or "outlok.com", the breakdown now suggests the correct domain.
- Fixed a bug where certain batches could leave leads stuck in pending status.
