Our verification achieves 99.5%+ accuracy on valid email detection. We use multiple verification layers including syntax checking, DNS/MX validation, SMTP verification, and spam trap databases to ensure the highest accuracy possible.

Valid emails are confirmed deliverable by the recipient server — including role addresses like info@ or support@, which are the primary B2B contact points and are marked with a sub-status rather than downgraded. Catch-all emails go to domains that accept every address (deliverable but unverifiable per-mailbox). Risky emails have a higher bounce probability — disposable mailboxes, catch-all servers, and full inboxes. Greylisted responses are reported as a separate sub-status so you know the server deferred our probe, not that the mailbox is missing.

Role accounts are treated as valid when the recipient server confirms delivery. We flag them with an "is_role" sub-status in the leads table so you can see and filter them, but they're not excluded automatically — for most B2B outreach they're the correct contact address. If you don't want to send to role accounts in a specific campaign, filter by sub-status in the leads list and remove them before sending.
